Ghales

Ghales (Thales Grilo) is a brazilian musician who uses code to create experimental lo-fi beats. Its sound is inspired by a wide range of artists from Animal Collective and Björk to Illapú and Araketu. In 2020, Ghales released its first album, Isohedra, preceded by a small EP, Pragma, both entirely composed with code. Today, participates as a performer on the Live-Coding and Algorave scene. In the past, Ghales has been a bassist for the Munha da 7 Top Trio, an experimental Jazz ensemble, and a guitarist in Parabolist, an experimental metal group, as well as a support musician for singer Raquel Campelo, shortly.
